Northland house designed by Parsonson Architects to sit high enough to ignore the Wellington Harbour, New Zeeland. This is oriented in two directions, east to the harbor and the hills beyond and west into the afternoon sun. Austerely friend’s house from the street wall of page protectors, while the space inside feels very open and connected to the outside. Loose surface material pattern is influenced by soil rugs seen from the sky. Flooring and decking materials and textures change when they run the level of the west yard, through the living room and out onto the deck on the west. Wing plan view of the focus of both the east or west and close the door to a neighbor to the north and south.
